7. The passage is about Mother Teresa, a great humanitarian, who was born on August 26, 1910, in Macedonia. She decided to serve humanity at a very early age. First, she joined an Irish community in India. After receiving training, she came to India as a nun and started teaching at St. Mary’s High School in Kolkata. Then, being moved by seeing the sufferings of the destitutes in Kolkata, she founded Nirmal Hriday the home for the dying and the helpless. For her love and kindness for humanity, she was awarded with the Nobel Prize for peace in 1979.
